👋 Hi, I'm Grace.

I'm interested in understanding how people learn best, and how computers can help.

My views on existing educational environments and what I'd like to change about them are best captured by James Somers' "I Should Have Loved Biology" and Paul Lockhart's "Mathematician's Lament."

I'm most interested in exploring new interfaces or "magic ink" to aid learners in better navigating their subject matter in more joyful and effective ways. I'd like to build tools and experiences that enable and encourage curiosity-driven learning ✨

In my recent past life, I worked at BigTech™ on engineering education.

If any of the above sounds up your alley, say hi!

I feel freedom of thought is the precursor to freedom of speech, which I feel is important to environments that enable the brightest, exudes a brightness that allows for navigation like a lighthouse . That language and communication between people provides the foundation for anything meaningful, that without proper translation and transfer, towers can tumble into babel, towering species can lose their ability to communicate with each other and then within themselves, as our own thoughts are made of language.
