I feel freedom of thought is the precursor to freedom of speech, which I feel is important to environments that enable the brightest, exudes a brightness that allows for navigation like a lighthouse. That language and communication between people provides the foundation for anything meaningful, that without proper translation and transfer, towers can tumble into babel, towering species can lose their ability to communicate with each other and then within themselves, as our own thoughts are made of language.
lighthouses are beacons that guide ships to safe passage and harbor, by signa ling in the night what they stand for and where they stand how to navigate terrain that can be treacherous. They are able to send and receive messages of extreme importance that prevent damage by providing a path to a secure habor. That without it ships can become lost and those who were supposed to find their way to one another are unable to, causing critical changes in trajectory, in time.
